The project is located on the roof of a steel forging company in Piedmont. This is a very energy-intensive industry, which is why the customer was interested in reducing his electricity cost through the installation of a PV system on its roof. We developed, financed and constructed this PV plant with the following KPIs:
Capacity: 800 kWp system, generating 900 MWh/year of clean energy
Commissioning: March 2023
Behind-the-meter consumption: So far, the company has utilized 74% of the total energy produced
Cost savings: In the first year alone, our solar plant has enabled savings of 51’000 EUR for the company! A remarkable impact on their operational expenses.
Roof lease: In addition, the customer receives an annual payment for leasing their roof space, turning an unused asset into a revenue and savings stream.
…all these benefits without requiring the client to divert any cash or credit from its core business activity. We see this as a clear win for all involved stakeholders!
